The New Ambassador of Zimbabwe presents letter of Credence to the AUC Chairperson

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 26 November 2014: The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to Addis Ababa and Permanent Representative to the African Union, H.E. Mr. Albert Ranganai Chimbindi, on Tuesday 25 November 2014, presented his letter of credence to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma.

Dr. Dlamini Zuma congratulated Ambassador Chimbindi on his appointment and reassured him of the full cooperation of the AUC in undertaking his duties successfully. The AUC Chairperson expressed appreciation to the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe, saying that the country has always been active in the work of the AUC.

Dr. Dlamini Zuma noted the commitment of the African Union to ensure quality implementation of its programmes, in order to deliver on the vision of the founders of the organisation, and most importantly, to bequeath the next generation with a prosperous, integrated and peaceful continent.

Ambassador Chimbindi commended the quality implementation of the different programs of the Union under the leadership of the AUC Chairperson, and promised to work in close collaboration with the AUC in the achievement of its goals.
