The Pan-African Resource Reporting Code (PARC) training modules have been accurately designed to ensure that professionals within Africa’s mining and energy sectors are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to adhere to industry standards and regulations. These modules form part of the African Minerals and Energy Resources Classification and Management System (AMREC), which champions the transparent and equitable management of Africa’s mineral and energy resources.

The primary purpose of the PARC training modules is to support professionals in meeting compliance standards, particularly regarding financial and security regulations. They serve as a foundational tool for accreditation under the PARC and act as a continuous assessment resource to ensure that professionals consistently align with the reporting standards.

In light of recent advancements in science, technology, and the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of the industry, robust and structured training has become essential for effective capacity development. These modules explore the critical role of targeted, professionally designed training programs that enhance the competencies of industry professionals. The program aims not only to facilitate competency certification but also to contribute to the continuous professional growth of individuals and the overall advancement of geoscientific practices across Africa. The modules are intended to ensure that professionals maintain a high level of expertise and remain responsive to the evolving challenges within the natural resources sector.
