“Live Broadcast Alert for All Broadcasters: Commencement of the 13th African Games
The Information and Communication Directorate (ICD) of the African Union Commission wishes to advise all broadcasters that in collaboration with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), the highly anticipated opening ceremony of the 13th African Games will be broadcast live on the GBC.
In addition, the GBC has provided the attached parameters to enable other broadcasters to access the live transmission.
Tune in to the attached parameters to be part of this historic event as we “Experience the African Dream”, which is the theme of the games.

The official opening ceremony is scheduled for Friday 08 March 2024 14H30 – 20H00 (GMT+0)
