Disbursement of the African Union Fund for African Women. “A call to beneficiaries of grants between 2014 to 2020.”

The African Union Commission (AUC) is undertaking the process of disbursement of the Fund for African Women to beneficiaries whose grants were approved and who have already signed grant agreements with the AUC between 2014 and 2020. 

 

In this regard, the African Union Commission through the Women Gender and Youth Directorate (WGYD) is inviting all the Beneficiaries of the FAW whose grants were approved and who have already signed grant agreements with the AUC between 2014 and 2020 to urgently respond to this call and verify their operational status, by completing the Beneficiary Verification Form on this link,by no later than midnight (24.00, EAT) on 30 August, 2023.  

 

Complete the form in full, to avoid any delays. 

 

A list of Beneficiaries is attached below for your reference. ONLY the listed organisations must respond as this is NOT a new Call for applications. 

 

The Fund for African Women (FAW) was launched in 2010 by the African Union as a vehicle to mobilize resources for activities that support the implementation of the 10 themes of the first African Women’s Decade (AWD) on Grassroots Approach to Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment: 2010- 2020.
