ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR JOURNALISTS NOW OPEN

The Information and Communication Directorate (ICD) of the African Union Commission (AUC) hereby announces that the online registration for journalists interested to cover the Extra Ordinary Summit on Terrorism and Unconstitutional Changes of Regime in Africa scheduled to take place from 23-28 May 2022 has been launched on the AU website.

Journalists are advised to register through the following link: https://accreditation.au.int/en/media/2022/extraordinary-malabo-summit

This page will contain all the information regarding participation of media at the extraordinary summit.

A media advisory note explaining all the detailed arrangements for media coverage of the Extra-Ordinary Summit will be posted subsequently on the website.

The meetings are scheduled to take place as follows:

23 - 24 May 2022: STC meeting on Migration, Refugees, Returnees and

Internally Displaced Persons;

25 May 2022: Meeting of the Executive Council;

27 May 2022: Extraordinary Humanitarian Summit and Pledging

Conference; and

28 May 2022: Extraordinary Summit on Terrorism and Unconstitutional

Changes of Regime in Africa;

Journalists will be able to cover all the open sessions physically and/or through the dedicated zoom link which will be provided upon receipt of your registration confirmation.
