The Republic of Zimbabwe is scheduled to hold its 2023 Harmonized elections. As the Country makes final preparations to hold its Harmonized Elections, the Chairperson Moussa Faki Mahamat of the African Union (AU) Commission,

 The Department of Political Affairs, Peace and Security (PAPS) of the AU Commission (AUC) in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe organized the 9^th Continental Africa Public Service Day (APSD) celebrations under the theme “The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) will require a fit for purpose African public administration to succeed”, from 21 to 23 June 2023, in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

H.E. Dr Amani Abou-Zeid, African Union Commissioner for Infrastructure and Energy,  highlighted the need to advocate for more women in power to participate in the fourth industrial revolution. The remark was made during the celebration of Girls in ICT at the Transform Africa Summit  held from 26^th -28^th April 2023, in Victoria Falls, the Republic of Zimbabwe.

The African Union Commission, Political Affairs, Peace and Security Department (PAPS) through the AGA-APSA Secretariat, is holding a National Training of Trainers (TOT) program on youth participation in Political and Electoral processes in Zimbabwe from 6^th-10^th June 2022 in Harare, Zimbabwe.
