Within the framework of the 4th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting (MYCM) among the African Union (AU), Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and Regional Mechanisms (RM), the Office of the Secretary General to the Commission and the Information and Communication Directorate of the AU Commission, joined by the Government of Zambia will on Wednesday 13 July 2022 from 10H30 -11H30 hold a joint press briefing on the following issues:

  • Briefing on the preparation of the 4th MYCM
  • Highlights and key messages to be discussed by the meeting
  • Useful media tips for the coverage of the 4th MYCM
  • Briefing on the significance of the meeting to the host country

The media briefing will be addressed by:

  • Tordeta Ratebaye, Deputy Chief of Staff, Bureau of the Chairperson
  • Wynne Musabayana, Head of Communication, AU Commission
  • Representative of the Zambian Government

The media briefing will be held in Press Conference Hall (AG09), at the Kenneth Kaunda wing of ther Mulungushi International Convention Center (KKICC), in Lusaka, Zambia.
