Professor Mohammed Belhocine is an Algerian national. Former Head of the Department of Internal Medicine, he held various positions in Algeria, at the Faculty of Medicine and the Ministry of Health, before joining the international civil service in 1997.

AU theme of the year: “Educate an African fit for the 21st Century: Building Resilient Education Systems for Increased Access to Inclusive, Lifelong, Quality, and Relevant Learning in Africa”.
African Union (AU) Summit will discuss and make far-reaching decisions on the security situation on the continent as some of its member states continue to face security challenges.

The Africa Dialogue Series 2024 wrapped up its first week with a resounding call to invest in infrastructure and policies facilitating young Africans, including women and girls, to acquire and maintain STEM skills.
The Pan African University Institute for Water and Energy Sciences including Climate Change (PAUWES) held its 8th graduation ceremony on May 7th in Tlemcen, Algeria, marking a historic milestone as the first cohort of graduates from the pioneering Climate Change Engineering program received their degrees.
