Invitation to follow the Live coverage of the 13th African Games on AU Livestream

The 13th Edition of African Games are continuing in full excitement and the Information and Communication Directorate (ICD) of the African Union Commission wishes to invite members of the media to follow the live coverage of this impressive event on the AU Livestream platform.

With more than 4000 athletes from across the African continent showcasing their talent and competing in a variety of sports the African Games are witnessing a celebration of unity, diversity and integrity.

This important continental event witnessed the participation of over 4,000 athletes competing in 29 sports disciplines, 8 of which are qualifying to the Paris Olympic in 2024. The theme of the 13th African Games is “Experience the African Dream”, being held 8-23 March 2024.

Members of the media are encouraged to tune into the AU Livestream channel to witness the thrill of the competition and the determination of the African athletes talent.

The events will also be livestreamed daily on the AU digital platform until the closing date of the African Games on: https://m.youtube.com/live/INxxIMPbHXI?feature=share
