Lomé/Addis Ababa, 29 July 2018: African Union Commission Chairperson Moussa Faki Mahamat arrived in Lomé, Togo, today, to participate in the joint Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) on Peace, Security, Stability and the Fight against Terrorism and Violent Extremism.

Chairperson Faki is scheduled to address the joint Summit during the opening ceremony on 30 July 2018.
He will take advantage of his presence in Lomé to meet with African leaders to discuss various aspects of the continental agenda, including peace and security, integration and the institutional reform of the African Union.
