WHAT: Africa CDC and UNICEF extended Partnership

OVERVIEW: Early last week (20-22 Feb.), a joint Technical Working Group from Africa CDC and UNICEF convened to finalize the costed Joint Action Plan (JAP) for an Extended Partnership Framework document which seeks to broaden the scope of the ongoing partnership between the two organisations.

Key outcomes of the meeting include:  the identification of key performance indicators, considerations on governance and accountability, and a strategic communication plan. These outcomes informed the next course of action, leading to the signing of extended partnership scheduled for 29th February.
