Midrand, South Africa, 1st December 2015: The African Union Commission in collaboration with the Pan African Parliament, International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), and the German Cooperation (GIZ) are holding the first regional meeting with representatives of the Judiciary to strengthen the rule of law and Justice Reform in Southern Africa. The meeting is being held within the framework of the African Governance Architecture (AGA) as the overall political and institutional framework, aimed at appropriately addressing the challenges of governance in Africa.

Cape Town, South Africa- 26 November 2015- The African Union is spearheading efforts to boost intra African trade as a means to achieve the Agenda 2063 goal of a united, prosperous and peaceful Africa by 2063. In this respect, from 23 to 27 November, the African Union has been co-hosting three meetings aimed at enhancing trade among African countries: i.e.
