WHAT: The official opening of the 20th Extraordinary Session of the Executive Council.

WHEN: Wednesday 14 November 2018

WHERE: African Union Headquarters, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

WHO: The Executive Council opening ceremony will be addressed by various high level delegates of the African Union.

Objectives: The Executive Council will consider the draft agenda, decisions and declarations of the Permanent Representative Committee (PRC) members came out of their discussions from 5th-6th November 2018 on AU Institutional Reform, AU Development Agency (AUDA), and Financing the African Union.

Participants: The Executive Council meeting will bring together the Foreign Affairs
Ministers of African Union Member States.

Journalists are invited to cover the opening session of the Executive Council meeting on Wednesday 14th November 2018 at 9:00am.
