Agenda 2063 is the blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into the global powerhouse of the future. It is the strategic framework for delivering on Africa’s goal for inclusive and sustainable development and is a concrete manifestation of the pan-African drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress and collective prosperity pursued under Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance.
H.E. Mr. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, was appointed to lead the AU institutional reforms process. He appointed a pan-African committee of experts to review and submit proposals for a system of governance for the AU that would ensure the organisation was better placed to address the challenges facing the continent with the aim of implementing programmes that have the highest impact on Africa’s growth and development so as to deliver on the vision of Agenda 2063.

As part of the organization’s reform initiatives, AU Careers the talent attraction platform for the African Union Commission is being overhauled in a bid to provide a more robust and collaborative platform.
During this period, users will still be able to access their profiles and apply for active vacancies listed in using the old http://aucareers.org/ .
From 21 December 2015 onwards all African Union vacancies will be advertised in the new platform, however all applications made on the old E-recruitment system will still be processed to completion.
Once the migration takes place the 2 systems will run in parallel for 1 month. It will be a requirement for candidates to create new profiles on the new system in order to take advantage of career opportunities. Candidate profiles in the old platform will remain available for display for a period of 24 months for reference purposes.
