What: The African Union Peace and Security Council (AU-PSC), at the level of Heads of State and Government, will hold it its 749th Meeting, on the sidelines of the 30th AU Summit, under the Theme: Towards a comprehensive approach to combat the transitional threat of Terrorism in Africa. The Commission wishes to invite members of the press to attend the opening ceremony.

When: Saturday, 27 January, 2018, Opening Ceremony- 18:40hrs

Where: African Union Headquarters, Plenary Hall, Old Conference Building

Who: AU PSC Members, representative of the Regional Economic Communities/Regional Mechanisms (RECs/RMs), African Union Mechanism for Police Cooperation (AFRIPOL), Committee of Intelligence and Security Services of Africa (CISSA) and African Center for the Study and Research on Terrorism (ACSRT).

Why: To reflect on the threat of Terrorism in Africa.
