Chief Charumbira briefed H.E the DCP on matters arising from the Third Session of the Fifth Parliament that took place at the seat of the PAP in Midrand, South Africa. -

The 2018/19 Fellows of Chatham House African Public Health Leadership Programme undertook a study tour of the African Union Commission (AUC), to familiarize themselves with the work of the African Center for Diseases Control (CDC), and interact with the leadership of the AUC. The delegation was led by Mr. Adebusuyi Adeyemi, Assistant Fellowship Director, Chatham House Centre on Global Health Security.

The maiden Pan African Conference on Children and Armed Conflict commenced today in Addis Ababa at the UN Conference Center. The three-day conference brought together children from Mali, South Sudan, Nigeria, Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo to demand immediate and specific actions from decision-makers on the continent to address their plight and fashion-out mechanisms for better protection of children affected by armed conflict and war in Africa.
