The Ancestry Reconnection Program (APR) in Salvador Da Bahia in Brazil from 9-11 July 2014. This is a gathering to celebrate Pan-Africanism and a reunion of the African people that will also mark the end of yearlong activities to commemorate the founding of the OAU/AU. It is also designed to use the occasion of the global focus on the World Cup to advertise the goals and purpose of the AU and its emphasis on rebuilding the global African family. This program of the AU will be held in collaboration with ARK Jammers connection. It will involve socio-cultural dialogue to celebrate Africa-Brazil linkages, a symposium and roundtable, gastronomic dialogue to show case our common roots and similarities, musical extravaganza and a football game between African and Brazilian players.
