AUC commemorates 9th Africa Day for Food and Nutrition Security; calls for sustained action against consumption and sale of unsafe food

African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights President and Vice President re-elected for another term
Arusha, 28 August, 2018: The President and the Vice President of the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (AfCHPR), Hon Justice Sylvain Oré from Côte d’Ivoire and Hon Justice Ben Kioko from Kenya respectively, have been re-elected for the second and final term of two years to lead the Bureau.
The closed-door elections were held yesterday at the start of the 50th Ordinary Session at the seat of the Court in Arusha, Tanzania.
