Victoria, Seychelles, 16 April 2018: The Department of Political Affairs (DPA) of the African Union Commission (AUC) has convened a technical workshop with the Heads of Election Divisions/Units, Heads of Secretariats of fora of Election Management Bodies (EMBs) of Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and the President of the Executive Committee of the Association of African Electoral Authorities (AAEA) on 16-17 April 2018 in Victoria, Seychelles.

AU Commission Chairperson congratulates Seychelles for smooth and peaceful elections, calls for serenity till process is concluded

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 20 December 2015: The Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, has congratulated the people of Seychelles for smoothly and peacefully concluding a historic second round of presidential elections on 18 December 2015.

Following an invitation from the Government of the Republic of Seychelles, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Her Excellency Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, deployed an African Union Expert Election Observation Mission (AUEEOM) to Seychelles to observe the second round of the Presidential election scheduled for 16-18 December 2015.
