Media Briefing on the 2021 Africa Malaria Progress Report by His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta, Chair of the African Leaders Malaria Alliance

What: His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta, in his capacity as the Chair of the African Leaders Malaria Alliance, will present the outcomes of the 2021 African Union Malaria Progress Report presented to Heads of State and Government during the 35th Ordinary Session of the Assembly to members of the press. The report highlights the progress, challenges and future directions in responding to malaria and the broader health and development agenda. The press briefing will also highlight the malaria situation in the continent, the actions that have been taken by African countries and the key asks to end malaria on the continent in line with continental commitments and the continental strategy, the Catalytic Framework to End AIDS, TB and Eliminate Malaria in Africa by 2030.
